Yatton 1 - 1 Wrington Redhill
Yatton will be disappointed with the point they took from this game, having most of the play and the chances against a poor Wrington side. For the first 15 minutes Wrington seemed unable to pass to a team mate but Yatton didn't take the chances that came their way and started to get dragged down to the local rival's standard.
The best of the early chances fell to Scott Bird whose volley from 25 yards was only just tipped over the bar by a good save from the keeper, this started a succession of corners for Yatton that weren't converted. The pressure did finally tell on the stroke of half time when a corner swung in by Lee was converted by Stu Walker.
Unfortunately Yatton reverted to type and started the second half slowly, conceding a sloppy goal with only five minutes played. All three substitutions were used to try and change the game, with many more chances created but Yatton couldn't get the ball in the net and the game ended as an opportunity to take three points missed.
