WHERE ARE YOUR ACCUSERS
“𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑯𝒊𝒎𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝒖𝒑 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒂𝒘 𝒏𝒐 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏, 𝑯𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒆𝒓, "𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒏, 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔? 𝑯𝒂𝒔 𝒏𝒐 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖?"" ~ 𝐽𝑜ℎ𝑛 8:10 𝑁𝐾𝐽𝑉
When you decided to give your life to Christ, perhaps at the beginning things seemed easy but shortly after you realised that 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. We have all been there and still are.
Perhaps you came to Christ during a good season of your life or a not so good season; either way, one thing is for sure: the enemy was not happy about your decision and he will try it all to remind you of your past.
R͟͟E͟͟M͟͟E͟͟M͟͟B͟͟E͟͟R͟͟: God has plans for you, he has a future for you (Jeremiah 29:11). 𝗛𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁when He looks at you. That shameful past has been 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 and 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 the very moment you received Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.
In the book of John, chapter 8 we read about a woman who was caught in the act of adultery and she was brought before a crowd to be "punished" for her sin. I love how 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁 in all situations with 𝗪𝗜𝗦𝗗𝗢𝗠. In this particular situation, he decided to keep quiet for a while and then He said: "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first." (John 8:7); these 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 but 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 C͟U͟T͟ R͟I͟G͟H͟T͟ T͟H͟R͟O͟U͟G͟H͟ P͟E͟O͟P͟L͟E͟'S͟ H͟E͟͟A͟͟R͟͟T͟͟S͟͟ and made them realise that they are actually 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 too! The fact that they sinned differently, did not make them right before God!
The moment we 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗧 and give our lives to Christ, the 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀. The old has gone which means we are 𝗡𝗢 𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗪𝗘 𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗧, we are 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 (2 Corinthians 5:17).
When God looks at you, He doesn't see the sinner, He sees 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑷𝑹𝑶𝑫𝑼𝑪𝑻 𝑶𝑭 𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑮𝑹𝑨𝑪𝑬, He sees His beloved son who gave His life for you, He sees a 𝑹𝑬𝑫𝑬𝑬𝑴𝑬𝑫 𝑺𝑶𝑼𝑳, a beloved child of His. Jesus bought you with a price: His precious blood, therefore N͟͟O͟͟T͟͟H͟͟I͟͟N͟͟G͟͟ can snatch you from His hand (John 10:28).
When you will hear the accuser's voice again, reminding you of who you used to be, 𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 and 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔, 𝒇𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒔 on 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑯𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒂𝒚; He is asking you: "𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬?"
With Love,
